The Journey : Restoration Through Travel

The Journey
“A journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step” so the saying goes.
My journey-An act of travelling from one place to another-Through time from youth to maturity, mingling with people, animals and nature getting acquainted with their needs and gaining knowledge about the ecosystem. Establishing friendships with those you meet on the way and learning about different cultures and norms.

Restoration Through Travel

Restoration-receiving back more than what I have lost to the point where the final state is expected to be greater than the original condition. I am going to be returning myself to the original free spirited, outgoing, humorous self as a child. Conquering fear by confronting the things I feared the most, through nutrition,  sunshine, water, exercise,  air, rest, trust and self-control.

All these are going to be explored in detail in the blog #Restoration through travel

Not too late to start hey- better late than never!!!!

restoration through travel

Sit back and relax and unwind as we journey together.  Setting up this blog was an eye opener, after being encouraged by my only now established blogger daughter the director and founder of NewKidOnTheBlock
I procrastinated for quite some time but I thrilled that the time was not stolen. When I finally decided to go for it,  I actually realised that the together we will enjoy as we journey in the wild.

The first part of the restoration was after 2016 which was loaded with challenges and a decision to visit Chobe and the mighty Victoria Falls was an icing on the cake for Christmas.

As I embarked on the morning cruise along the Chobe river the breeze from the water splashed by the boat was so soothing that for a moment I completely forgot about all that happened in the year.

The sound of birds singing, the eagles relaxed on trees, hippos and elephants taking an early morning bath and basking in the sunrise was spiritually healing.

And the best was seeing lions from afar underneath the shade of the bushes alongside the river, and the tour  guide telling us that they are the laziest of all animals and would spend the day there in preparation for hunting at night, I felt like jumping out of the boat to just go and join their melancholy.
I was so amazed and went in hook, line and sinker into my own world that my mind body soul responded tremendously.  If you really want to experience what I did, do join me through this journey of restoration by subscribing to the blog, follow me on Twitter,  Instagram and Facebook.

Experience the healing nature of the wild.
